Year: 2024

On Holy Thursday, Room 8 had a very big day. We had to re-create what Jesus did for us and what he was going through. This special day was Stations of the Cross. As a class we had 7 roles altogether including, Jesus, Mary, Soldiers, Pontius Pilate, Veronica, Women of Jerusalem, and Simon. Everyone got a special role and I was one of the Women of Jerselam along with 5 other girls.

We were all in our costumes and lining up as school came out to  watch us. I was so nervous. The first time I was doing a play in front of the school. The First Station … Jesus is condemned to death for loving and caring about others.

The soldiers gave Jesus a heavy cross to carry onto the hill. Jesus never wanted to be in this situation but he knew he wanted to do this for us and our sins.

Jesus was nailed to the cross, he died and rose again after 3 days.

Jesus died for us so we can live eternal life.
