Boyan Slat is the CEO and the inventor of the ocean cleanup to. This is in an effort to clean up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. When Boyan Slat was 16 he realised there was so much plastic in the ocean. He wanted to use huge floating booms to stop rubbish from getting into the ocean,so in 2012 he presented his work at a TEDx conference and his work started to go viral and his work started sharing all around world.After a lot of research Boyan slat’s project started in 2013.
